Will this frenzied response lead somewhere???

For the past one-week, we have seen practically everyone getting into a passionate and frenzy state.... Not just Mumbai but the whole country is just eager to do something abut the sorry state of affairs that exist right now. Everyone is angry, hurt and are experiencing a feeling of helplessness. But where does this take us? Will this result in some kind of action? Will this lead to adopting stringent measures to secure the country from future attacks? Will this hysteria guarantee security to each and every citizen of this country? The answer is obvious - No -

As soon as another hot topic captures the imagination of the media, it wouldn't even take minutes for this hysteria to die down, which will be replaced by an equally captivating issue or concern. The media will instantly go into a state of amnesia and will only re-emerge when another horrific act of terror takes place. So why make such a big noise, cuz in reality there doesn't exist any value of human life in our country and their never will be.

Where is the jhola brigade???

The jhola brigade is the first one to make noises when a terrorist or a criminal is brought to justice. Ironically they are also the first to maintain silence when their country is bombarded by the ones whom they shower their compassion so generously on. I wonder what blinds them to the human rights of the victims who are either killed or injured by their favored ilk in any of the grotesque terror attacks. Why don't they come out and cry foul now, or don't the citizens of this country possess any human rights.

Yet again another disaster strikes

Yet again another disaster strikes, yet again the media goes into a frenzy and yet again the citizens of this country feel helpless and angry. The same rhetoric continues by everyone as usual and nothing comes out of it. I wonder why we, as a nation never get tired of replaying and over dramatising the whole situation by concentrating on nonsensical nuances which have no bearing at all on the larger issue. But I think we all revel in this and try and seek some kind of a temporary solace from ridiculing each other or bickering about issues that don't matter. Or maybe we are so incompetent and coward to take decisions and stringent steps that we hide behind the facade of irrelevant and utterly useless squabbles.

Mumbai, the financial hub of the country is literally bleeding to death and there is not even a single person who is willing to do anything about it. We truly need a leader who would take some drastic and need be shocking steps, but as irony has it in this highly populated country, there doesn't seem to be even one specimen of this kind. Sad, a country with a population of over a billion and no one has the spirit to dare...
